Saw this little thing in the Post about the 5D cars. What does this mean for the neighborhoods and neighborhood policing? I dunno.

This is very interesting. It also may explain why I saw two beat cops walking down U St NE on Monday. One of my BBQ invitees asked “Do you always have cops walking around here”, to which i replied, “never”.
It was interesting to see for sure, wonder if the two are related.
While this action may be a little hard-core, if there is corruption or at very least mismanagement of the fleet fuels, this will help correct the issues in the long run. That being said, it seems that many people in 5 have issues with CMDR Greene.
Seems like Greene is doing the correct thing. I agree with the above poster about sorting out the problem with the fuel.
I’m sure that many cops would rather hide in their cars, than walk a beat or ride a bike.
