Walking down Florida Ave yesterday I noticed the Popeye’s Fried Chicken place on the corner of 7th and FL has closed up and is empty. The sign is gone, there is nothing inside. Did this happen recently?
No worry. We can always get mass produced chicken at the Bulletproof KFC on Florida and North Cap.

Wonder if Shiloh will fight that too? Doubt it…
Who wants to start guessing what kind of businees will take Popeye’s space? Better yet, what would people like to see in that spot?
I am pretty sure this is the start of the great streets project…soon you are going to see alot of changes on that corner from what the folks promised at the ANC meeting.
so exactly why did it shut down? failure to pass health inspection?
