AV sold: The end of mediocre Italian food as we know it
Gallery Place and Mt. Vernon Square have reported it here, and here respectively. You have until 2007 before your NY Ave options are hanging with leathery men at the DC Eagle bar or getting trapped in Marrakesh for a couple of hours.

Didn’t the news/paper report that he was also trying to buy the rest of that block too? I wouldn’t count on the Marrakesh or DC Eagle being around too much longer either. /Rob aka TruxtonResident

Comment erase and Matchbox has good pizza.
I really hope they replace AV with an overpriced mediocre tapas place or a Starbucks because you can never have enough of those.
Jemal is a menace. If I’d wanted to live in Ballston, I’d have moved there.
